Diversity: Graduate Student Recruitment Programs: SURGE Fellowship

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the College of Engineering offer financial support for students from underrepresented groups who are entering engineering doctoral programs. The Support for Under-represented Groups in Engineering (SURGE) Fellowship Program is a comprehensive package of stipends, service, and activities to recruit and support eligible students. Nano-CEMMS participates in this initiative and offers a SURGE-Nano-CEMMS Graduate Fellowship to incoming students who will pursue research through the Center.
