Diversity: Undergraduate Recruitment Programs
All pre-college diversity efforts focus on increasing the number of underrepresented minorities and women who enter science and engineering programs at the college level, with a particular emphasis on working in Nano-CEMMS.
An undergraduate scholarship aims to provide opportunities for students. Nano-CEMMS introduces nanotechnology and, in particular, nanomanufacturing, directly to an academic, geographic, racial/ethnic, and socioeconomic diverse mix of students in summer camp sessions and in school programs.
Nano-CEMMS also works with teachers who, in turn, reached a diverse mix of students. |
